Peel · stick · swipe
Thirty seconds, done right.
Nearly every review that mentions a problem is about the first application. Here's how to get it right the first time, and what happens if you don't.
1. Photo first
Snap a picture of the front and back of your card. The skin covers the front, so this is how you'll look up your number later. (Your bank app has it too.)
2. Wipe it clean
An alcohol wipe or a dry microfiber cloth. Oils from your hands are the number one reason a corner lifts later. Let it dry fully.
3. Peel, align, lay it down
Peel the backing halfway. Line the chip cutout up over your chip, press that edge down, then lay the rest from one end to the other like a sticker on glass.
4. Press from the center out
Firm thumb pressure from the middle to the edges. Done. Chip and tap work as normal; at a stubborn gas pump, use tap.
