Proverbs 16:3

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

Where it comes from

Proverbs collects wisdom for daily life. Chapter 16 keeps returning to one theme: people make plans, but the Lord directs the steps.

What it means

This isn't a formula where God rubber-stamps whatever we decide. The order matters: commit first, then watch what he establishes. To commit your work is to hold it with an open hand, to do it honestly, and to let the outcome be his. It is a verse for the business you're starting, the degree you're finishing, and the budget you're trying to keep.
