Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Where it comes from
Spoken into a chapter about suffering, groaning, and waiting. Paul is not describing an easy life; he is describing a governed one.
What it means
The verse doesn't say all things are good. It says God works in all things, including the ones that aren't, toward good for his people. That's a claim about who is in charge of the story, not about how any single chapter feels. It is the kind of promise you can only prove by looking back.
Carry it
Bright orange hand-lettering so the promise is the first thing you see on a hard day.
